The kits include maps, field guides, brochures, and informational resources to help you find the perfect adventure!
This resource kit will provide everything you need to explore the vast array of landscapes and opportunities available across the Uncompahgre Plateau. Whether you enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, or riding OHVs, you can find a stunning place to do so on the Plateau. This is a large geographic area; Whitewater, Gateway, Norwood, and Ridgeway lie along the corners of the Plateau. Nearly 75% of the Plateau is public land, which consist of Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area, the Dominguez Canyon Wilderness, and the Uncompahgre National Forest (Plateau Division).
