Are you looking for something FUN to do this summer? Hundreds of Delta County families participate in our Summer Reading Program every year. This community-sustained program inspires children, teens and adults to read and explore through exciting and relevant programs, reading incentives, and special activities throughout the summer.

Programs for All Ages

Children

Participants ages 0-11 are invited to register for the children's program. Children can track their time reading on the provided reading log. Caretakers of children who are not yet reading can count the time they read to the child and the time they engage in early literacy activities with the child. Just track your reading at home and turn in your completed reading logs, by August 22, for a prize!

There are also many fun activities to enjoy over the summer.

THIS SUMMER! Join us for a fun summer at the libraries and help us UNEARTH A STORY, with fun activities happening throughout the summer, reading challenges, and more. Participation in library programs is not required to register. Just track your reading at home and turn in your completed reading logs, by August 22, for a prize!

Adults

Summer reading is not only for children! We offer a full adult program with incentives, programs, and a lot of fun. Participants can complete the reading challenge to earn a prize and be entered in for a grand prize drawing in mid August! Prizes include program totes, water bottles, gift certificates, and more. Just bring your completed reading challenge to any library during open hours by August 22 to be entered into a raffle to win a prize. This summer, adults are invited to participate in events and activities happening throughout Delta County at our libraries. We hope you join the fun!
