Connect to health at your library with a telehealth kit. This kit has all of the equipment you need to have a telehealth visit with your health care provider. This Telehealth Kit is made possible through funds from the State of Colorado’s Connect to Health Pilot Program, a collaborative effort between the Office of eHealth Innovation (OeHI) and the Colorado State Library to increase telehealth access in rural communities.
Checkout/Return
The Telehealth Kit may be checked out by patrons with a library card in good standing and no fines over $10.00. Checkout is on a first-come, first-served basis for 1 week. Telehealth Kits may also be reserved by contacting your local Delta County Library.
To ensure that these devices are available to everyone, patrons will be limited to one kit at a time, with no renewals and no holds. A charge of $10 a day will be incurred each day the kit is overdue.
Never return a Telehealth Kit in the book drop. All components of the Telehealth Kit must be returned in-person, during open hours, to the circulation desk at the same library from which it was checked out. Patrons are responsible for any loss or damage that occurs before a device is returned to staff at the circulation desk. Patrons are responsible for the full replacement cost (up to $1000) of the Telehealth Kit if it is damaged or stolen and library borrowing privileges will be revoked.
Content Filtering
The equipment within the Telehealth Kit operates in accordance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
While using the Chromebook device, all web pages that you visit will be screened for adult content and malware. Any attempt to visit such a page will result in the following message being displayed: Web access restricted.
This content filtering is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
