“Dig It” will be a summer music series held in the amphitheater every Thursday evening in June from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Decorate a dinosaur at the Delta Library! Drop by the Delta Library June 5th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM to personalize a wooden dinosaur ornament or a t-shirt.

Uncover the science beneath our feet! This rock‑tumbling STEM program invites young explorers to learn how friction, erosion, and mineral properties turn ordinary stones into shiny gems.

Lift your voice in the tradition of community singing with your neighbors at Crawford Library.

Step into a Dinosaur Escape Room at the library as part of our Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story! Work in teams to solve fossil clues, habitat challenges, and mystery codes as you decode facts to unlock boxes and move to the next stage.

From epic builds to robotics and creative challenges, our LEGO Club is the ultimate spot for K–6 kids to play, learn, and have fun with friends.

Come play Improv Games at the Paonia Library every 2nd Thursday of the month from 4:00p.m. to 5:30p.m. A variety of improv  and imagination based activities will be shared by local theater instructor Natalie Haines.

Magic: The Gathering is a competitive trading card game that fosters literacy, strategy, creativity, communication and math skills!

New to the game? Come learn the basics of gameplay and build your own deck. Open to Teens!

Crack open your own dino egg and see what’s hidden inside! Kids and teens can dig, chip, and uncover a tiny dinosaur while learning a little about fossils and prehistoric creatures.

Come see the Packhorse Librarians at Pioneer Days on June 13th, 2026! Librarians will see you in the crowd as they walk the parade.

Ready...Set…Dig! Dig and sift through sand to find hidden fossils, shark teeth, and cool rocks! Every discovery is yours to keep and every child will leave with an identification sheet to learn more about their treasures.

Make a model coprolite (fossilized dinosaur feces) using salt dough while you learn about these fascinating fossils.

Shed your reptilian skin with glycerin soap and bath bombs that you have made yourself. Open to tweens and teens age 9-17.
